HASLETT - Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics, that is what STEAM stands for and what Haslett Schools incorporate into their curriculum.
A class that gives students the opportunity to combine their multiple subjects into one study. And now, students can take their creative designs in this class to a whole new level, with the addition of a brand new 3D Printer.
Ralya and Murphy Elementary Schools both received this new piece of hardware all thanks to the Meridian Economic Development Corporation (EDC) and The Foundation for Haslett Public Schools. As well as the training and support from Tinkrlab. The Meridian EDC donated $900 for each of the 3D printers.
All contributors visited the tech labs of these schools on April 24th for a ribbon cutting ceremony. Where students cut the ribbon and gave thanks for their new technology.
