INGHAM COUNTY - According to a press release sent out by the Ingham County Health Department, commissioners have prohibited the use of Electronic Cigarettes, also known as E-Cigarettes in all buildings operated by Ingham County.
Going into effect immediately, certain policies never specified the use of non-tobacco smoking products in public places.
“Because E-Cigarettes have not been along that long, many people aren't aware of the health risks. We really want to protect people from secondhand exposure and a number of different risks that are associated with it. We serve a lot of families in our buildings and we have take them into consideration,” said Ingham County Health Officer Linda S. Vail.
