EAST LANSING - This past week the MSU Police Department partnered with local and state public safety officers for a Hazmat training exercise in Spartan Stadium.

Multiple officers from MSU and other colleges around the state attended the training. The 51st Civil Support Team, the Ingham County Hazmat Team and the East Lansing fire department were also apart of the exercise.

Employees who work with hazardous materials are required to do a training every year.
