Player Denzel Valentine etched another mark in history .

Valentine hosted his first Youth Basketball ProCamp presented by Sunny D from July 25th to 26th from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM at Aim High Sports in Diamondale.

Campers gathered to learn fundamental basketball skills and had the opportunity to meet the Lansing native.

Valentine was selected by the Chicago Bulls with the No. 14 pick of the 2016 NBA Draft on June 24th of this year.

Valentine averaged 19.2 points, 7.8 assists, and 7.5 rebounds during his last season with the Spartans and earned the AP Player of the Year honors this past season.
