MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - Voter registration is an important gateway between millennials and voting in primary elections.

HOMTV is coordinating efforts with Okemos and Haslett high school, in collaboration with Rock the Vote, a marketing campaign to increase awareness of the registration process, and encourage 18 year olds to vote in the upcoming presidential election.

We are interviewing 18-year-olds at Haslett and Okemos High Schools and asking them what hot button political issues they care most about and why they think one vote matters. We're very excited to help 18-year-olds register to vote through the Rock the Vote program and increase involvement from millennials in the election process!
