HASLETT - After winning three of its last four games, the Vikings (8-8) could not keep the momentum going against Lansing Catholic (15-1). Haslett loses the home heartbreaker, 63-61.
Down 36-34, at the half, Haslett kept it close all night long in a game reminiscent of an intense ping-pong battle. The teams traded blows back-and-forth in a knotted up, 27-27, second half.
The challenge does not get any easier this Friday night as the Vikings must travel to DeWitt (14-2) to take on the Panthers. DeWitt has not lost since Jan. 8 at Lansing Waverly.
