MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - A public hearing is set for February 22, 2016 at 7:00 p.m to further discuss the development of the 468,000 square feet apartment complex, Okemos Pointe.
These upscale apartments have caused a lot of controversy when it comes to things such as traffic, wetlands, and its neighboring houses Coyote Creek.
Revised plans for the proposed development, Okemos Pointe were submitted at August 10th Planning Commission meeting.
The new design would consist of 19 apartment buildings, one mixed use building, and a market building. 354 residential dwellings units were also proposed.
