HASLETT - The Haslett Vikings took on the St. Johns Redwings in a Thursday night swim meet. Nearly every event was close, but the score did not reflect it.

The Vikings got off to a rocky start due to a disqualification in the 200 medley relay. After the disqualification, the Vikings were not able to recover. The Redwings placed first in all but a few events. Going into the diving break, the score was 41-21 Redwings.

The Redwings continued to increase the point margin through dominant diving. The Redwings divers scored well against the Vikings, coach Brubaker said the divers, "are just dynamite".

While the Vikings put up a great effort, the Redwings got away with this one 115-71
