MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - The elements and cold weather has not stopped the Meridian Farmers' Market.
The Winter Farmers' Market has moved inside for the season. The market is open every first and third Saturday in the JCPenny corridor of Meridian Mall through the month of April.
This past Saturday approximately 30 vendors were selling homegrown or homemade goodies to the public.
Vendors sell products ranging from bath soaps to natural honey. Customers moved from table to table inquiring prices and tasting samples.
Kathy Sansonetti vendor at Meridian Farmers' Market enjoys selling her homemade sauces inside of the mall. She believes having the Farmer's Market inside the mall attracts new people.
"The quality of the produce, the homemade goodies that you find, all the different soaps, to sauces, to flowers, to vegetables, gluten free products, the variety is simply amazing," Sansonetti said.
The Farmers' Market will return outdoors in May.
