EAST LANSING - The MSU Federal Credit Union (MSUFCU) will award high school artists on Sunday, February 28th.
MSUFCU played host to many pieces of art in the headquarters lobby throughout the month of February. Students from 15 area high schools were chosen to display their art.
Four different awards will be given out to the students. A juried award will be given to the two students who score highest through a selected jury. The social media award will be given to the student that receives the most likes on a picture of their art. A school spirit award is given to the school that receives the most votes. The last award, the people’s choice award, goes to the three students who gain the most votes from the public.
Voting for the people’s choice awards and school spirit awards has closed. The dates for viewing the art in the lobby are over. However, social media likes are counted until the day of the awards. The jury will have its decision and the votes will be tallied by Sunday.
The awards ceremony will be held on Sunday, February 28th at 2 pm. The ceremony will be held at the MSUFCU headquarters.
