The Township Parks and Recreation Department organized the events, giving runners scenic route during their run. Participants ran around Nancy Moore Park, up Nemoke Trail, then back down Marsh Road.
"I'll definitely be back next year for the Polar Bear 5K, for sure, and I've heard there are some more events in the summer that I'm going to try out and I think its going to be a lot of fun," said Quinton Merril, First Place Finisher, Ages 20-24 Category.
The event was capped off with a small ceremony awarding the earliest finishers in fifteen age brackets. Ages ranged from 8 and under to 75 and above.
