EAST LANSING - East Lansing v. Haslett, David v. Goliath, Brandon v. Brandon? Tuesday night's showdown between the unbeaten Vikings and Trojans quickly turned into a shootout between stars. 6-foot-8 Brandon Johns and East Lansing landed on top, 79-70, over 5-foot-10 Brandon Allen and the Vikings.

Haslett's lack of height proved to be the deciding factor, as the lengthy Johns scored 30 points from inside and out.

Allen did his best to keep his team in it. With 27 points, Allen continues to increase his appeal at the collegiate level.
