MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - Students may soon see the development of even more student apartments in East Lansing.

Located west of a shopping center that contains Foods for Living and State of fitness, The Square will involve the development of apartments and retail space.

Formerly known as The Avenue on Grand River Avenue, The plan contemplates development at 2655 Grand River and 2671 Grand River which has been vacant for 17 years.

The Township Board discussed moving forward at a previous Township Board meeting. The board will further discuss the plans proposal at a future meeting.
