MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - If you often shop at Kroger in Meridian Township, you've probably noticed that they've started construction on a gas station in the corner of the parking-lot.

Construction crews have been focused on underground work, digging up pavement and installing large tanks to hold the fuel.

The gas station is expected to have seven gas pumps, and a rather small kiosk. The customers themselves won't be able to enter the kiosk, they'll either pay at the pump or walk up and pay at a window.

Due to the winter weather it's estimated that they won't complete the project until spring.
