MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - On Thursday, October 29, 2015, the new Residence Inn located on Hannah Street in Meridian Township held it's official ribbon cutting, filling its lobby with investors, partners, public officials and interested locals.

While the hotel had only been open for business for several days, the management announced that they were already fully booked and several guests checked in during the occasion.

The hotel is also eagerly planning on partnering with local artists to beautify the location and contribute to the local art scene. Their first collaboration - a shed-like structure encrusted in Michigan symbolism - is already installed along the walkway leading into the building.
