ST. JOHN'S - The high school cross country Division 2 regional finals took place this past Friday at the very festive, Uncle John's Cider Mill.

For Division 2 girl's runners, Haslett's Amanda Young placed 7th overall for the girl's race. Haslett, as a team, placed 7th overall for the girl's. East Grand Rapids team, and girl runner took first overall.

The boys Division 2 runners were off to the races after the girl's finished. Haslett placed 8th overall as a team for the boys race and Brandon McMahon played 23rd overall for the boy's individual rankings, representing Haslett.

Again, East Grand Rapids took first in the boys race with many local teams, like DeWitt and Williamston, just trailing them in the rankings.
