LANSING - This week, the Ingham Community Health Centers celebrates both 50 years of health centers in the United States, and National Health Center Week.

The event includes a fitness instruction opportunity, a hula hoop dance class, and a reflection on the 50th anniversary of US health centers.

"We have heads from all of our departments here to give more information about our different programs that we offer," says Bryanna Brown, member of the Board of Directors for the Ingham Community Health Center.

More than 1,200 health centers currently provide health care to 22 million people in the United States. The Ingham Community Health Centers serves approximately 25,000 people each year.

The health center celebration runs from 1-5pm at 1115 South Pennsylvania Avenue in Lansing.
