MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - The Meridian Township Park Commission is hosting a two-day open studio to discuss the Central Park Master Plan.

LuAnn Maisner, Meridian Township's Director of Parks and Recreation, is at the event today, July 28th, and is helping with the generation of ideas for the Central Park Master Plan.

The Park Commission is receiving assistance for this plan from GEI Consultants and Ocha Landscape Architects. An employee from GEI Consultants is at the open studio today drawing up plans for the park.

The Park Commission is inviting Meridian Township residents and stakeholders to the event.

On the walls of the Meridian Township board room are maps for the park that look at the Central Park base map, circulation, views, opportunities and constraints, preliminary use area study, along with general map plans.
