MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - Courtesy Ford in Meridian Township held their ribbon cutting ceremony on July 1st for their new showroom and service center. Construction for the project began seven months ago, in December.
"Starting a project in December, during the cold months, that's not necessarily optimum time to do a project like this. But we did it, and we are so proud and excited about our new facility,"said Wendell Barron, Vice-President and Owner of Courtesy Ford.
A variety of people were present at the ceremony, including Chamber of Commerce employees and Meridian Township Board members, including Trustee Milton Scales.
"The reinvestment in this building shows what type of good, corporate citizen and good, corporate neighbor that Courtesy Ford continues to be," said Scales.
The official grand opening of the new Courtesy Ford will be held on July 31st from 4pm-8pm.
