LANSING - On Thursday, June 25, just after the all-star game that the Lugnuts played in earlier in the week, the Lansing Lugnuts faced next door neighbor's West Michigan.
The Lugnuts started off strong in the bottom of the first bringing in two runs and they had the lead until the top of the fourth when West Michigan scored one.
The score is now 2 to 1 i the top of the fifth and this is where Lugnuts defense lacks and West Michigan brings home 3 runs all based on Lugnuts fielding mistakes.
The Lansing Lugnuts took the loss on Thursday, 6 to 5. Because this was the second half of the regular season, this loss will not hurt the Lansing Lugnuts in the long run of games.
