LANSING - The Capital City Stealth squared up against their rival West Michigan Force. Both teams entered tied for second place in their league standings.

The Stealth struck first blood with a lengthy field goal from Jeff Drake to tack on three points right before the half. During half-time, fans released balloons in the sky with messages honoring veterans.

This game did not feature much offensive explosion compared to last week but it still kept the crowd hype, especially in the fourth quarter.

With under three minutes remaining in the game, West Michigan's Jeremy Diller lazered a nine-yard pass to Leo Frazier to take a 6-3 lead. The Force would miss the PAT and would not hold the lead for very long.

The Stealth's Mike Frisbee answered back with what would be a game winning kick-off return touchdown to take a 9-6 lead, the Stealth would miss their PAT. Frisbee stays humble despite making the biggest play of the game.

"To me, it doesn't matter about being the hero. As long we get that team win and that W on the board that's all that matters, said Frisbee.

On the defensive side of the ball, defensive back Raymond Duncan continued where he left off last week notching two picks. The Stealth defense finished the game totaling four interceptions. Duncan has five interceptions in two games.

"It was all about executing in practice, the whole defense contributed tonight. We just locked up, no fly zone," said Duncan

The Capital City Stealth have a bye week before they play the Lakeshore Cougars at Hope Sports Complex on Jully 11th.
