UPDATE: OKEMOS - Students at the Okemos High School are getting ready for this year's fall play, The Triangle Factory Fire Project.

The play uses eye-witness accounts and court transcripts to dramatize the historical Triangle Shirtwaist Factory fire that occurred in New York City in 1911. The dramatization focuses on the death of one particular factory worker of the 146, Margaret Schwartz, as well as the political and legal consequences of the fire.

Okemos students have been building sets, rehearsing, and preparing for the premiere of the play was Friday, November 4th at 7:30 PM at Okemos High School.
