MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - Each week on Meridian News Now, we introduce you to animals who are at the Ingham County Animal Shelter and the Capital Area Humane Society. This week, two Old-English Bulldogs, Ducky and The Rock, are your Pets of the Week!

Ducky is a one-year-old English Bulldog Mix who is currently at the Capital Area Humane Society. He loves toys and long walks outside, but he is nervous and shy in new situations, so the Humane Society recommends a low-key, quiet household and that he be the only dog in his new home. Ducky is 66 pounds, neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations.

The Rock, another English Bulldog, is currently with the Ingham County Animal Shelter. He is a people pleaser who will do anything for attention. The Animal Shelter says The Rock may need some training, but is sure to pay you back in slobbery kisses.
