HASLETT - The Foundation for Haslett Schools "Got Taste, Got Talent" event took place on April 18th at the Haslett High School Performing Arts Center.
It serves as a fundraiser for Haslett Schools. Proceeds go toward helping Haslett to continue to be a great place to live, learn, and to enhance the learning opportunities for students.
"We generally make approximately $25,000 to $30,000. So it's our one and only big event that we have in a year. So we're very fortunate to be able to make that much," says Kelly Flagg, Vice President of the Foundation for Haslett Public Schools.
For the first hour and a half, attendees had the opportunity to take advantage of the food vendors who attended, including Blue Gill Grill and Culver's. For the last two hours, they enjoyed a show put on by local talent.
