HASLETT - Haslett basketball is doing just fine.

The boys and girls advanced to the district finals this week, with the boys doing it on their home court.

Against Perry, the Vikings had no problems, plowed their swords in early and finished on top, 62-38, giving themselves a shot to win their first district title in the last six years.

They will play an Williamston (17-4) squad, but will do so keeping a home court advantage. Tipoff is set for 7pm this Friday, March 14.
