MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - The Haslett-Okemos Rotary Club held their 9th annual fundraising Hero Luncheon on Tuesday February 9, 2015.

The luncheon was hosted at Gilbert & Blake's Seafood & Steak Grille with two sessions, the first one began at 11:45 a.m. and the seconded followed at 12:45 p.m. Tickets were available to be purchased in advance for $20, with limited ticket purchases available at the door.

All members of the Rotary Club help served food and drinks to the members of the community that came out to support the fundraising event.

The money raised goes toward helping local and international activities such as Haslett and Okemos High School Scholarships and anti-Polio efforts.

The Hero Luncheon is one of the clubs biggest fundraisers and continues to see success year after year.
