HASLETT - It was finally time for Okemos and Haslett boys basketball to face off. The Venue? Haslett High School.

What a game it was as the Cheifs and Vikings were back and forth all game. After numerous lead changes the game was locked up at 46 at the 6 minute mark. Okemos charged forward and never looked back as this would be the last time it was tied.

The player of the game was certainly Okemos' Junior Chaz Richardson. Richardson was all over the floor, raining fire from outside the arc and finding a way to finish whenever he went to the painted area. He did not act alone though, Richardson scored 22 points and notched 6 assists while his fellow teammate, Senior 6'3 Forward Connor George finished the night with a whopping 29 points and 15 boards.
