MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - The Board of the Friends of Historic Meridian hosted a 40th Anniversary Reception on Sunday, November 16th. Board members, members of the Friends and residents of Meridian Township gathered for refreshments and a presentation looking back at 40 years of local history, given by Jane Rose.

Jane Rose, Executive Director of Meridian Historical Village, said she is excited about this exceptional event.

"After 40 years of hard work Meridian Township has a beautiful Historical Village located in Central Park, thanks to the Friends of Historic Meridian," she said.

The Board does not host reception events like this every year but wanted to recognize the historical achievements of the Friends over the past 40 years.

Friends of Historic Meridian hosts other events including Christmas in the Village, which will take place this year on Sunday, December 14th from 2-4 p.m.
