MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - Residents and officials welcomed a new location of the Lansing company, Doggy Daycare and Spa, to Meridian Township during a ground breaking ceremony Tuesday, October 21st.
The doggy daycare which will be located at the northwest corner of Grand River Avenue and Cornell Road will provide a cage-less environment for dogs to play, interact and socialize while offering overnight boarding and full grooming services.
Business owner Janice Milligan, said with the Lansing location often at capacity and a demand for services in Meridian Township, it just made sense to open a new location in the area.
"We are really excited to be in Meridian Township," Milligan said. "We're excited for this growth and we're excited to provide the very best day care and grooming in this area."
Residents who wish to use this service must have their dogs spayed or neutered along with up to date vaccinations. The dogs also must be at least five months old to attend.
Kincaid Henry Building Group will begin construction early November and the new business expects to open Spring 2015.
