OKEMOS - Marco's Pizza, located along Grand River Avenue in Okemos, made its grand opening September 8th.

Marco's is the fastest growing pizza franchise in the U-S since 2007. Its Okemos location marks owner Donna Sturgis' second location.

"I'm very excited!" Sturgis said. "We had 48 people in the line before 10 in the morning for pizza. I believe this is going to be a very successful store for not only me personally but for the community."

Sturgis opened her first Marco's in East Lansing six years ago and says her mass of customers from the Okemos area allowed her to really get to know the people and its community.
