MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - Despite the previous cold weather records, this year's Meridian Heritage Festival had lots of sunshine. Giving historical demonstration was possible at the festival, an annual township event that goes 200 years back in time. Visitors saw how barns are made and the ancient way of washing clothes as well as early house wife's favorite time of the day after hard working such as making rugs. Kids got to feel live animals such as bunnies, llamas, and sheep. Time flew with past time activities such as fishing, pony rides, and mini croquet. Despite the age difference, the festival provided fun for both adults and children.
