OKEMOS - The New City Buffet off Grand River Avenue held it's grand opening on Friday, May 2nd.

The restaurant is located at the former Old Country Buffet next to Playmakers, which was also home to Osake Sushi and Hibachi Buffet earlier this year.

"I feel a lot of energy, I think it's going to be something new for the Township," said Henry Kwok, owner of the New City Buffet.

The new restaurant features "comfort American food" including a Grill Station with steaks, burgers, hot dogs, and kebabs. A Sushi Station, Spice Market, Soup Station, Salad Bar, and a Japanese Noodle Station can also be found in the restaurant. Dim Sum is served on the weekends.

"We wanted to offer a little bit of everything for everyone," said Kwok.
