EAST LANSING - It was a beautiful day for football with over 35,000 fans showing up to cheer on both the Green and White teams in the MSU's annual Spring Game.
The game went right down to the wire, but it was the White team that would prevail 20-13.
The White team got off to a quick start with Jermaine Edmondson picking off Tyler O'Connor on the very first play.
The Green team fought back though, as O'Connor would find Keith Mumphery for a 14 yard touchdown.
Both teams would exchange a pair of field goals, but it a late Connor Cook touchdown to Josiah Price sealed the deal for the White team.
Coach Mark Dantonio was happy with both teams performance.
"We try and make it as game like as we can, as you see. Little frustrated with the penalties, the unforced penalties, both those things happen when you have all these different people playing and those types of things," said Dantonio.
