MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - The Tri-County Regional Planning Commission hosted another Charrette Vision Presentation on the Michigan Avenue/Grand River Avenue project, this time actively seeking feedback from the community on the progress.
"We convened a lot of people from three county region all to talk about what their vision would be for the Michigan Avenue/ Grand River Avenue Corridor and this evening will conclude the visioning process," said Susan Peg, Executive Director of the Tri-County Regional Planning Commission.
The Vision Summary presentation was led by Victor Dover, Principal Partner of Dover Kohl and Partners followed by public remarks to the Tri-County Regional Planning Commission.
There was nothing but positive remarks given by the public. The Presentation covered the Regional Corridor Vision, Eastside district, Red Cedar/ Frandor district, and Meridian Center visual artwork. The commissioners proceeded with the agenda to review each proposal with the Executive, Finance, Program/Grant and Transportation committees to conclude their resolutions on the project.
