MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - The Michigan State University Museum has been the site of the Ahmed "Kathy" Kathrada: A South African Activist for Non-Racialism and Democracy exhibit.

Kathrada was a long time friend, and even cell mate of Nelson Mandela. The exhibit shows many examples of his work including all of the books he has written.

Marcus Boyd, a Michigan State University student said, "I just wanted to learn a little bit more about the people who have worked so hard and fought for such a long time to give me and all people freedom and equality throughout the world."

Then exhibit will be on display in the Museum's main gallery until April 13th.
