MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - The Haslett Girls Basketball team hasn't won a CAAC Red Conference Championship in nearly a decade.
Entering February ranked 10th in the Michigan AP High School poll that goal looks to be in reach. After there recent 70 to 28 victory over Fowlerville.
"Haslett hasn't won a conference championship in like ten years so that is definitely our goal right now," said Head Coach Bob Currier.
With an 11-1 regular season record and nine games left to play Haslett is in position to make a run come playoff time. Coach Currier feels his team is up for the task.
"I think that this team is focused, I think that they believe that we can do some good things yet this season," Currier stated.
