MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - The Jo Pass Bridge Project is underway that will connect a residential area to the Inter-Urban Pathway
The bridge will go over the Eberly drain and will be for pedestrians and bicycles. It is planned to be 35 feet long and 8 feet wide. The bridge project is funded by the Township Pathway Fund.
At a previous Planning Commission meeting, commissioner Ianni indicated that the project promotes public safety and welfare by bridging the drain, increasing bicycle paths and making the community more walk-able.
