MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - The Township Board approved the 2014 budget at the October 15th meeting.

This year alone, Meridian Township allocated an additional $525,000 in pension costs from the 2013 level. The challenge for 2014 is to maintain a proper fund balance, and continue to provide services to the residents of Meridian Township.

“I think its better to be prepared for things, for our plans for the year, for the budget. And then let things go of course through the regular process,” said Angela Wilson, Board Member, Meridian Township.
