MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - The Marsh Road project began mid-July and now it is in its final stage.
The project was scheduled to repave one mile of Marsh Road between Grand River Avenue and Tihart Road. Many businesses are located along the stretch, including Fruit Froyo, employee Cheng Hang stated, "I mean I honestly don't think that construction has really hurt business that much. Coming to work I had to change my route a little bit ,but it's not that big of a difference."
The project just had a boost the weekend of August 23rd, when workers removed the old surface pavement and asphalt resurfaced the road immediately after, but eastbound Tihart road is expected to remain closed until late October.
