MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - The Adult Day Care Center is still in its preliminary stages. This stems from the Planning Commissioners thoughtfully and thoroughly looking at the definition of what the day care center could be so as to not leave out or lump too many people in together.

"Mentally ill may be a lightening rod of an item in there. You know, I was thinking of no harm to themselves or to other. I think it will cause concern when people do see that," said Holly Cardill, Meridian Township Planning Commissioner.

New Life International Church off of Bennett Road will be the host of the Adult Day Care Center once everything has been solidified through the Township Board. The next Planning Commission meeting is on Monday, August 26th. The definition will be brought up once again.
