MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - At the last Township Board meeting the board revisited the potential implementations of Hannah Lofts. After much discussion of the project the board approved Hannah Lofts to be a action item at the next board meeting.

Many community members came out and voiced their opinions of this project. They commented on the environmental and noise considerations when developing the house complex.

While the board voiced concerns that after looking over the revised plans that the project still attracts many students. Especially with the four bed room and four bath housing units. Trustee Angela Wilson, explained what is important when building these high density housing units.

"There is only 3 empty lots the can be developed this being one of them and so we really need to start focusing on that diverse population. And it really comes down to diverse population in the township" explained Wilson.

The next Township Board meeting will be Tuesday August 20th at 6:00pm.
