UPDATE: OKEMOS - Playmakers Store was in for quite the surprise when a landmark sign caught fire in front of their location.

Driving along Grand River, you may notice places like a performance wear store, an Old Country Buffet, and an Asian Market. One sure you're sure to notice is the "shopping cart lady". When the landmark caught on fire due to a bird's nest caught in the electrical wiring, locals were adamant to keep the sign standing.

Fortunately, no one was hurt as a result of the electrical fire, and the sign still stands tall on Grand River Ave.
