MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - On Saturday August 4th, locals welcomed the Capital Community Bike Share to Lansing. The bikes will be provided by a company named A2B Bikeshare.
"Where bike sharing goes in, people get around in a green healthy manner and engage more with small businesses," said Ansgar Strother, Co-founder and CEO of A2B Bikeshare.
A glitch with the locking mechanism for the bikes prevented the start of the service, but Capital Community Bike Share is enthusiastic to get the system running and launch a grand opening wen the system is fully operational.
