MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - Gwen's Bagel is a pink cranberry orange flavored bagel that is shaped like a breast cancer ribbon.

Rita Lyon invented the bagel to raise money for the American Cancer Society and to raise awareness about breast cancer.

The bagel is named after her mother, Gwen, who passed away from breast cancer at age 47. The bagel is available during the month of October, which is Breast Cancer Awareness month.
