UPDATE: HASLETT - The Haslett Beautification Association, a group of volunteers that maintains garden plots in public spaces on Marsh and Haslett Roads, is preparing for another productive year.

The group plans to fix up flower beds that were disrupted during road construction and is looking for extra hands willing to help out.

"Pride in your community, that was the main reason for starting this group,” new president Shari Middlewood explained. “It's a good way to give back to the community.”
