UPDATE:
HASLETT, MI - If you've visited the Meridian Mall recently, then you've probably spotted the colorful sign that reads "TinyTown Trading Co" in the plaza across the street. The small store just opened it's doors for business in a brand new location at the corner of Grand River and Marsh Road. It features toys, books, car seats, strollers, and clothing for kids as young as infants up to ten years.
Cheryl Savage, the owner of the store, says she was sad to relocate from Haslett Village Square but the move was necessary for the business's expansion.
Savage got the idea for the store because children grow so fast that their clothing hardly gets any real use. She thinks that anyone who wants to be green, recycle, or save money can find use for a consignment store like TinyTown.
You can go there to buy or sell; the store will give you 50 percent of their profits for any items they take.
