UPDATE: MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP - There are several new businesses opening soon in Meridian Township.

American Cycle and Fitness is getting ready to open the doors of its Okemos location. They may be new to the area, but they are not new to the cycling business.

There are six other locations in the Metro-Detroit area.

Michael Reuter, CEO and owner of the chain, said the East Lansing area was the next logical place to set up shop.

The store, located on Grand River Avenue, will have its grand opening in April.

Other new businesses include Habitat for Humanity, Sparrow Urgent Care, and City Limits.
