UPDATE:
HASLETT HIGH SCHOOL - On January 30, 2012, the Haslett-Williamston-Bath girls varsity gymnastics team took on Grand Ledge. Both teams being undefeated this season brought tension between the two teams. Competing on vault, bars, floor, and beam, Grand Ledge's Rachel Hogan was the top scorer in all four events with an all around score of 36.5 for first place.
"I know usually we're really close," said Duane Haring, Grand Ledge High School gymnastics coach. "Whenever you come here, you don't know if you're ever going to walk out a winner because they're really good."
Haslett's Cara Carizio scored a 35.95 for second place and was the top scorer for Halsett, but in the end, Grand Legde took the win. The final score, Grand Ledge 144.525 and Haslett-Williamston-Bath 139.475.
