UPDATE: EAST LANSING - #4 Iowa visited East Lansing last Sunday to take on the Spartan wrestling team.

Michigan State was shut out by Penn State in their last meet, and they looked to turn it around with Iowa. However, Iowa didn't let up and showed their strength as the number four team in the country, beating Michigan State 27-12.

But it wasn't a total loss for Michigan State as John Rizgallah upset Ethen Lofthouse, the eleventh ranked wrestler in the 184 weight class.

Michigan State has lost the past four meets. They'll face Northwestern on Friday.
