UPDATE: LANSING - Dave and other Meridian Township carvers arrived at the Haslett Public Library to showcase some of their very own fish creations carved by hand from wood. Dave took an interest in fish carving after attending a carving competition in the late nineties and has continued to wow people with his talent ever since.

Dave has been competing in national carving competitions for a little over a decade and has earned several blue ribbons and earned "best of" titles. During his appearance last Saturday, he managed to sell a few of his very own carved creations to the public.
